Join us for the next SmallTalX event with Prof. Bruce Bassett from the UCT Applied Maths Dept., who will speak about the incredible acceleration of everything related to Artificial Intelligence over the past decade and how it raises the spectre of a new form of super-intelligence with which humans may have to co-exist. Is this a real possibility in the next 20 years or is it just Hollywood-fuelled hype? If it isn't hype, how would it change society and can we ensure that it's a nett good for humanity?
