Dr Simon Elwen is founding director of Sea Search and research associate at the Department of Botany and Zoology at the University of Stellenbosch. He is particularly interested in the behavioural adaptations cetaceans make in response to different environmental conditions. He also runs the Namibian Dolphin Project.
