Join us for the second SmallTalX event of 2024 with herpetologist Tyrone Ping, who will give an introduction to the fascinating snakes and reptiles of Franschhoek and surrounds. Ping will explore both common and lesser-known species of snakes and reptiles that call this region home. The talk will touch on basics of venomous and non-venomous snakes of the area, rare reptiles, threats to reptiles, and how the general public can help with conservation.
