Popular herpetologist Tyrone Ping will present an introduction to the fascinating reptiles and amphibians of the Deep South. Tyrone will explore both common and lesser-known species of snakes, reptiles, and amphibians that call the Cape Peninsula their home. The talk will also touch on the basics of venomous and non-venomous snakes of the area, rare reptiles, threats to reptiles, and how the general public can help with conservation. Tyrone will also have his popular field guide for sale at the event.
